The UAE has a duty-free entry threshold, parcels up to AED 300 are duty-free. However, all parcels, regardless of value, are subject to VAT at 5% of the order amount and an administrative fee for processing customs clearance. Customs fees are calculated including the cost of delivery.

• For goods valued over AED 300, the following general customs tariffs apply:
• Customs duty of up to 5% of the order value;
• Import tax of 5%;
• Customs release fee of up to AED 90.

In addition, regardless of the order value, customs may randomly select your order for physical inspection. In this case, in addition to taxes and duties, the following charges may be imposed:

• Physical inspection fee - AED 80;
• Communication fee with the recipient - AED 50;
• Parcel storage fee - AED 25 for each day the parcel is stored for more than three days;
• Additional administrative fees - up to AED 100.

Also, if your order contains more than five items, an additional handling fee of AED 12 will be charged for each additional item.
